- A new remote has to be memorised into your security system for it to operate - this is called 'code learning'
- The coding instructions can be found in your owners manual (which you can download from our website if yours is misplaced) or is detailed below
Remote control code learning
- a) Disarm the system by remote or the override method described on the previous page
b) Turn the ignition off/on 3 times leaving on third time. Siren will chirp.
c) Press the override switch for 5 seconds - siren chirps 3 times to confirm learning mode.
d) Press button 1 twice on 1st remote. Siren will chirp to confirm.
e) Press button 1 twice on 2nd remote. Siren will chirp to confirm.
Repeat this procedure if you have a third remote. Turn ignition off to complete the learning sequence.
Note: If you lose a remote, re-learning the existing remote will erase the one that is lost.
