This latest technology in cutting tips offers the highest performance and cost balance possible for cutting a complete range of metal types. Cermet tips easily outperform regular Tungsten Carbide Tip (TCT) saw blades. C6 TUNGSTEN CARBIDE CUTTING TIPS C6 carbide tips used on 165mm to 185mm Sheet Metal cutting blades. C6 Carbide is an ultra-high performance cutting tip made up of TUNGSTEN CARBIDE and COBALT and has a Cobalt content of 6%. HARDNESS: C6 Grade Carbide has a hardness of 1800 to 2500 Vickers. This means that it is extremely hard and can maintain a sharp cutting edge for a long time. WEAR RESISTANCE: C6 Grade Carbide is highly resistant to wear which means that it can withstand the friction and heat generated during cutting operations. TOUGHNESS: C6 Grade Carbide has a good balance of hardness and toughness which means that it is less prone to breaking and chipping than materials that are more brittle. HEAT RESISTANCE: C6 Grade Carbide can withstand high temperatures without losing its hardness or strength. This makes it ideal for use in cutting applications that generate a lot of heat.
