DuroArc 309LMo was designed for welding type 316 clad steels on the first pass in cladding steels or for welding dissimilar metals such as molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steels to carbon steels. It provided greater corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures than 309L and gave the better crack resistance .
Typical application: It is used in paper mills and in power plants to give greater corrosion resistance.
Welding Positions: Flat, Horizontal, Vertical up, Vertical down, Overhead
The oil stains and rust on the weldments should be cleared away.
Designed for welding with 100% Co2.
When welding, the gas flow rate is generally 20~25L/min.
